Electrical People: Le Blanc to Lead Elemental LED as President

Universal Lighting Technologies (Nashville, TN): David Skinner is now director of field applications engineering for North America. He possesses more than two decades of electrical engineering and management experience. His background includes creating LED module, driver and control solutions to meet performance, cost and efficiency targets. In previous roles he has led high-performance field engineering teams, defined innovative products and implemented system-level solutions with customers. Skinner will oversee Universal’s Field Application Engineer team – a technical resource team supporting solid-state lighting (LED) system optimization for projects across the country. He will work with lighting designers and customers to demonstrate the flexibility of Universal’s lighting components in a wide range of applications.

WAGO (Germantown, WI): The company’s Canadian business unit recently hired Patrick Butler as regional sales manager in southwestern, Ontario.  Butler spent 16 years with Phoenix Contact as a district application specialist, regional sales manager, and regional channel manager. He’s an Ontario native, born and raised just outside of Toronto.

Elemental LED (Emeryville CA): Elemental LED, Emeryville, CA, named Chris Le Blanc president and chief operating officer. Le Blanc has been chief revenue officer and executive vice president of the company for the past year.

In his new role, Le Blanc will be responsible for leading the company’s growth strategies and operational execution. He will work closely with CEO Randy Holleschau to shape the strategic direction and execution of the company’s objectives.

“Chris has been a vital factor in the success of Elemental LED over the last few years: building a first-class management team, transforming our go-to-market strategies, growing market share and strengthening our competitive position,” Holleschau said in a release. “Chris is a dynamic leader and his promotion is well-deserved.”
