Electrical People - Greenberg named CEO of Keystone Technologies

Keystone Technologies (Montgomeryville, Pa.): This 70-year-old ballast manufacturer recently appointed Ira Greenberg as CEO. A 13-year company veteran who had most recently been COO, Greenberg helped Keystone expand its product offering to include lighting ballasts, lamps, and retrofit products; strengthen its  relationships with distributors; and expand its network of 19 warehouses. Greenberg earned his MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his BBA at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

In other news at the company, Keystone promoted Jake Alpert to the position of V.P. of operations. He has been with the company for three years, overseeing the operations and logistics functions. He holds a BA in mathematics from Cornell University.

Anamet Electrical (Mattoon, Ill.):  Joe Bridges is now part of the Anamet Electrical team and will replace Jerry Chandler as regional manager upon his retirement in January. He has extensive sales experience, most recently as V.P. of sales for the Edge Group. Bridges has a track record of double-digit sales growth in positions at Panduit, Datamatic, Hunt Technologies and Schlumberger, and he holds a degree in finance and economics from Fredonia State University. He is also a veteran of the United States Navy.

Universal Lighting Technologies (Nashville, Tenn.): Silvia Burdi joined the Universal team as the new regional sales manager for the Midwest region. She joins the company with more than 16 years of lighting industry experience and will be tasked with growing the Midwest distribution channel by managing and supporting agents and distributors.

Atlas Lighting Products (Burlington, N.C.): Roy Blaylock, currently a regional sales manager, has been promoted to national sales manager. In his new role, Blaylock, a 10-year veteran with Atlas, will lead the sales agents and a growing sales team committed to helping its distributors win more business and increase their LED market share. Atlas manufactures and sells a broad range of energy-efficient lighting products.  The company says its high performance line of affordable and fast-selling LED fixtures has been a major contributor to its rapid sales growth.

Omni Cable Corp. (West Chester, Pa.): Mark Serafino has been promoted to regional V.P. and will manage the company’s St. Louis, Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston locations and work closely with the company’s regional managers in those facilities.  He previously was regional manager of Omni Cable’s St. Louis branch.

Summit Electric Supply (Albuquerque, N.M.): Jeff Norris is now service center leader of the company’s La Porte, Texas, location. He joins Summit just as renovation of the La Porte service center gets underway. Along with remodeling the office spaces, the company is adding 15,000 square feet to La Porte’s warehouse and 30,000 square feet to its pipe and conduit storage yard.

Norris has worked in electrical distribution for nearly 25 years in Oklahoma and northern Texas. In his new position, he will focus on industrial contractor business, expand the service center’s reach into commercial markets and use the expanded facility’s ongoing renovation to better meet the needs of customers.

Novinium (Auburn, Wash.): This specialist in rejuvenating electrical cable named Wade Pfeiffer the company’s new senior vice president of sales and marketing. Pfeiffer has more than 20 years of sales, services, technology, and operations experience. He was previously president and CEO of Safeharbor Knowledge Solutions, which was sold to Enghouse Limited in 2013.  Before that, Pfeiffer held senior-level positions at nGenera Corp. (now Moxie Software), Talisma Corporation, X10 USA and Orca Monitoring. Pfeiffer has a bachelor of commerce from New South Wales University.

Robroy Industries Conduit Division (Verona, Pa.): This manufacturer of ETL-Verified PVC-coated galvanized rigid conduit (Plasti-Bond, Perma-Cote and KorKap), recently appointed  Destiney Melton as inside sales associate. She has more than six years’ experience in customer service and plans to work toward a degree in business management.
