Mayer Electric Supply, Birmingham, Ala., is continuing to expand its Jones & Lee Supply Division. Earlier this year, a temporary location was established at 3601 Papermill Rd., to serve customers in western Knoxville while a new building is under construction. The temporary location provides enough space for on-hand inventory worth over $850,000.00.
Manager Bill Smith and his team of 12 associates join over 50 Mayer associates in the growing Tennessee division. Jones & Lee Supply was purchased in September 2006 by Mayer Electric Supply. Jones & Lee’s two Knoxville locations will retain their name at present and continue to serve their long-time customers.
