Cooper Wiring Devices Names Roberts President

Jeffrey Roberts has been named president, Cooper Wiring Devices, a division of Cooper Industries Ltd. He replaces Neal Kluger, who stepped down as division president July 1.

Jeffrey Roberts has been named president, Cooper Wiring Devices, a division of Cooper Industries Ltd. He replaces Neal Kluger, who stepped down as division president July 1. Kluger, who had headed Cooper Wiring Devices since its formation in 2000, will remain with the division as executive vice president, reporting to Roberts.

Cooper Wiring Devices is in the process of relocating its headquarters operation to Peachtree City, Ga. The new Cooper Wiring Devices headquarters facility will be completed in the third quarter 2004. Roberts is relocating to Peachtree City while Kluger will continue to office in the New York metropolitan area.

Roberts joined Cooper Wiring Devices in June 2003, as executive vice president. Prior to that time, Roberts was employed at Emerson Electric Co., St. Louis, where he most recently served as vice president and general manager of the Emerson Air Moving Motors division.
