Cooper Industries Makes Executive Appointments

Designed to advance the company’s commercial presence in international growth markets, Cooper Industries Ltd., Houston, has made two executive appointments.

Designed to advance the company’s commercial presence in international growth markets, Cooper Industries Ltd., Houston, has made two executive appointments. Grant L. Gawronski has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president, international operations, responsible for implementing strategies to expand Cooper’s customer base in Asia, Mexico and Central and South America. Gawronski also will continue to lead Cooper’s company-wide strategic sourcing and manufacturing technology improvement efforts. Gawronski joined Cooper in 2002 as vice president, manufacturing services. Additionally, J. Eric Scrimshaw has been appointed president, Cooper Europe. Scrimshaw will continue to work to leverage the company’s considerable commercial and manufacturing strength in the United Kingdom and Western Europe. Scrimshaw will also have responsibility for the commercial oversight of Cooper’s growth activities in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Most recently, Scrimshaw was president, Cooper Menvier, and executive director, Cooper Europe.
