US Electrical Services LLC (USESI), Exton, Pa., purchased Fox Electric Supply Co. (Fox).
Founded in 1931, Fox is a fourth-generation family business focused on service to the construction trades in the Philadelphia and southern New Jersey markets. In addition to their headquarters and distribution center in Philadelphia, Fox has locations on Castor Street in Philadelphia and in Folcroft, Pa., as well as Cape May, Ocean City, Berlin and Pennsauken, N.J.
Fox will retain its name. The current management team, including owners Bruce and Jonathan Fox, will remain with the company. USESI offered the greatest opportunity for the continued growth and success of Fox, according to Fox owners Bruce and Jonathan Fox. “USESI is focused on providing high levels of service which is what our company was founded on, and this combination provides us the strength to continue growing our business without sacrificing that.”

USESI also owns Electrical Wholesalers Inc., Hartford, Conn.; Monarch Electric Co., West Caldwell, N.J.; Wiedenbach-Brown, Westchester County, N.Y., and Duplex Electrical Supply Corp. The company has more than 30 locations.
