Dakota Supply Group (DSG) (Fargo, N.D.): Greg Servais is the new segment manager for HVAC/R products. He will work closely with DSG’s Chief Segment Officer Mike Tupa and DSG’s Plumbing Segment Manager Ryan Tracy to grow the HVAC/R segment while helping DSG’s HVAC/R customers and vendor partners to become more successful. Servais will work out of DSG’s W.A. Roosevelt location in La Crosse, Wis. Before taking on the role of HVAC/R Segment Manager, Servais served as the product manager for the HVAC/R and plumbing segments at W.A. Roosevelt, which DSG acquired in Feb. 2012. Servais. He has worked for DSG/W.A. Roosevelt since 1991, working in the city desk and in outside sales before becoming product manager in 2007. DSG/W.A. Roosevelt is a distributor of HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, communications, utility, metering technology, automation and waterworks products.

BICSI (Tampa, Fla.): BICSI, the association supporting the information technology systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment, has completed the 2013-15 Board of Directors Election. Members have elected the following five board members to serve two-year terms: Secretary: Robert Erickson, Communications Network Design, Haysville, Kan.; Canadian region director: Peter Levoy, (incumbent), Anixter, Ottawa, Ontario; U.S. South-Central region director: Jeffrey Beavers, Black and Veatch, Lenexa, Kan.; U.S. Southeast region director: Charles Wilson, Wilson Technology Group Inc., Brooksville, Fla.; and U.S. Western Region Director: Larry Gillen, Pentair Technical Products – Hoffman, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

Crestron (Rockleigh, N.J.): Sabino Petruzzelli is the company’s new commercial lighting regional sales manager. Petruzzelli joins Crestron from Verrex where he was customer account executive. Based at Crestron world headquarters, he will cover the commercial lighting market in metro New York, New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. With more than 20 years of experience in the custom electronics industry, Sabino will utilize his technical and account management experience to increase sales and brand awareness of Crestron Integrated by Design lighting solutions within his territory.

Halco Lighting Technologies (Norcross, Ga.): Jerry Kalb is now director of business development and will assist in the development of key client relationships and promote Halco’s products to new channels and markets. He brings more than 30 years of lighting experience, including sales management and product development roles with GE Lighting, Acuity Brands Lighting and EYE Lighting. Most recently, he served as the national sales manager for Toshiba LED Lighting Systems Division. Kalb holds an MBA from the University of Illinois.

Lind Equipment (Markham, Ontario): Stuart Dack has joined this manufacturer of portable lighting, cord reels, GFCIs and static bonding and grounding equipment as product manager and will direct new product design and product customizations. Dack will immediately kick-start development of Lind’s next generation products, including line extensions to the LE970LED 50W LED flood light. He holds a masters in science from York University and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree from McGill.

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Uninterruptible Power Supplies Division (UPSD) (Warrendale, Pa.): John Steele has been promoted to inside sales manager and James Hughes has been promoted to national sales manager. A graduate of West Virginia University, Steele will manage the Engineered Services/Projects Team within UPSD. In addition, he will now manage the application engineers, international and government sales. Hughes has a degree from Michigan State University and will lead the outside sales team from UPSD’s offices in Chicago. His team’s sole responsibility will be to manage UPSD channels to market and promote the sale of the Division’s products to existing and prospective clients.

Nicor Lighting (Albuquerque, N.M.): Kristean Alcocer has joined the company as Eastern regional sales manager. He comes to the company with extensive experience in lighting, electronics manufacturing, distribution, and sales and is a former member of the Navy’s submarine force and a University of New Mexico alumni.

Robroy Industries, Conduit Division (Gilmer Texas): Ken Plasterer has been appointed plant manager. Prior to joining Robroy Industries, he worked at Capacity of Texas, a manufacturer of terminal trucks. He earned a business management degree from Chesterfield College.

Xicato (San Jose, Calif.): James Norrish has joined the company as regional manager for Australia and New Zealand. He brings with him a wealth of experience including running a successful lighting production and event company to working for lighting manufacturers such as Clay Paky and Martin in Australia.
