Fluke Corp. (Everett, Wash): Carl Pickard has been named president of the industrial division. He will be responsible for Fluke’s industrial businesses, including digital multimeters, process tools, accessories, temperature, thermography, indoor air diagnostics and associated brands including Raytek. Pickard has served as the president of the Raytek division of Fluke for the past three years. Before that he served as group vice president of marketing, product development and business development for the Danaher Tool Group, a sister company to Fluke owned by its parent corporation, Danaher. Pickard will be responsible for product planning, brand management, marketing and marketing communications, including matrixed responsibility for marketing resources outside the United States.
Milbank Manufacturing Co. (Kansas City, Mo.): Lavon R. Winkler has taken the helm as chief operating officer. Most recently, Winkler was president and COO of Mid-America Manufacturing Technology Center.
Halco Lighting Corp. (Atlanta): Halco Lighting has announced a re-organization of its sales and operational teams. Kim Cook has been promoted to the newly formed position of chief operating officer, responsible for managing operations, as well as directing the company’s marketing efforts. Most recently, she served as vice president, sales and marketing. Bob Ruggiero has been promoted to vice president of sales, responsible for directing national sales efforts to the electrical distribution market. Ruggiero brings 41 years of sales experience to his new position. Michael Gray has been promoted to vice president, specialty markets. He previously served as Northeast regional sales manager. Dave Jackman joins the sales team as Northeast regional sales manager and brings more than 30 years of lighting industry experience. Naomi Taylor, inside sales manager, will now be responsible for managing Halco’s customer service group, as well as OEM accounts.
Leviton Manufacturing Co. Inc.(Little Neck, N.Y.): William Fodor has been appointed director of marketing for the electrical distribution division. Fodor joined Leviton in 2000 as a product manager in the company’s OEM division.
Mayer Electric Supply Co. Inc. (Birmingham, Ala.): Nancy Collat Goedecke has been named vice chairman. The appointment was made as a continuation of Mayer’s plan to maintain its family-owned status, which is now in its third generation. Goedecke has been preparing for this responsibility for many years as a member of Mayer’s external advisory board, the company’s senior leadership team, and by completing the company’s leadership development program.
Graybar Electric Co. (St. Louis): Michael C. Dumas has been named vice president, comm/data business. Dumas, an 18-year Graybar veteran, most recently served as vice president, corporate accounts.
Bosch Power Tools, a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corp. (Mt. Prospect, Ill.): Frank Carroll has been appointed president, Bosch Power Tools North America. Prior to Bosch Power Tools, Carroll led the company’s Dremel and RotoZip brands, as president and general manager. He will continue to oversee these brands until a replacement is announced.
Summit Electric Supply (Albuquerque, N.M.): Russ Hiller has joined the company as corporate controller. His duties will include oversight of accounting and financial reporting at Summit Electric. He will also assist with cost accounting, budgeting, bank compliance, strategic planning, taxes and other financial management duties. Hiller comes to Summit from Atkinson & Co. Ltd. where he specialized in tax and audit accounting. Steve Vandewater has joined the company as chief information officer and vice president of information technologies. He will focus on advancing the company’s computer systems and capabilities including e-commerce. Vandewater comes to Summit from CellStar Ltd.
Edwards Signaling & Security Systems (Cheshire, Conn.): David Turk has been promoted to national sales manager. He has been with the company for eight years and was most recently director of sales, Western U.S. Edwards is now part of GE Infrastructure Security.
Cooper Industries (Houston): Kirk S. Hachigian, president, has been elected to the additional post of chief executive officer. The position of chief executive officer had been held by H. John Riley Jr., who will retire Dec. 1, but will continue as Cooper’s chairman until the board of directors meeting on Feb. 15, 2006. Hachigian, who joined Cooper in 2001, assumed responsibility for all of the company’s electrical poducts businesses in June 2003 and was named chief operating officer in November of that same year. Hachigian was named Cooper’s president and chief operating officer in August 2004, when he was also elected to the company’s board of directors.
