Chera M. Ellis has been promoted to director of marketing for Greenlee.

Greenlee (Rockford, Ill.): Chera M. Ellis has been promoted to director of marketing. Ellis joined Greenlee in October 2000 as senior product manager, DSV tools, and most recently held the position of senior product manager, test and measurement.

Industry Data Exchange Association (IDEA, Rosslyn, Va.): Steve Horton, formerly of Integrated Software Systems (ISS), joins IDEA as business development director. IDEA reports that the addition of Horton is a result of IDEA’s acquisition of ISS’ assets and Horton’s strong foundation within the industry.

Robroy Industries (Gilmer, Texas): Robroy’s conduit division has promoted Kelly Jones to production supervisor of its Gilmer, Texas, plant. Jones has worked for Robroy for almost 19 years, most recently as assistant production supervisor.

Staco Energy Products Co. (Dayton, Ohio): A UPS industry veteran, Jim Jones has been appointed Western regional manager. He will be based in Dallas.

Jefferson Electric (Franklin, Wis.): George Mergel, vice president of sales and marketing, will retire April 1 after more than 40 years in the electrical industry. His career includes time with companies like Sylvania Electric, Acme Electric and Gould Shawmut. He joined Jefferson Electric in 1998.

Summit Electric Supply (Albuquerque, N.M.): Jorge Guajardo has been appointed service center leader of Summit Electric’s Corpus Christi, Texas, service center. He succeeds Mark Lambert, who is relocating to Summit’s Albuquerque headquarters to help with Summit’s conversion to the SAP enterprise software package. Guajardo most recently served as account manager.

NorthEast Electrical Distributors/Eagle Electric Supply (Canton, Mass.): Several organizational changes at NorthEast Electrical Distributors/Eagle Electric Supply have been announced. Frank Marandino has been appointed vice president of operations. Previously, Marandino was vice president of procurement. Pat Blake, vice president of sales, has assumed responsibility for the NorthEast Electrical eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire markets. Shawn Mumma will continue his role as vice president of sales for Eagle Electric Supply and will be responsible for the NorthEast Electrical Connecticut market. Marty Mesale, vice president of sales will be responsible for NorthEast Electrical central/southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island markets. Bob Holehouse, vice president of strategic accounts, will be responsible for the development of the company’s strategic account initiative.

Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures (Belding, Mich.): A six-year Stahlin veteran, Michael Jackson has been appointed product marketing manager. Additionally, Jackson currently serves on the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) enclosures section committee (NEMA 250) as well as IEC 60529 TC70 (US) international committee for industrial electrical enclosures and is an active member of the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA).
