Brook Electrical Distribution Co., a division of Sonepar USA (Lincolnshire, Ill.): Mike Wall has been appointed president. He succeeds David Rosenstein who is no longer with the company. Wall previously held management positions with GE Supply and Graybar. Michael Nuccio has been appointed chief operating officer and has been chief financial officer of the company since January 2001. Prior to joining Brook, he held executive-level financial-management positions with various Chicago-based wholesale and retail distributors.

U.S. Electrical Services LLC (USESI, Chester Springs, Pa.): Arthur Namerow, former co-owner of the recently acquired Electrical Wholesalers, will serve as executive vice president and chairman of the USESI Vendor Partner Council. Namerow will be responsible for coordinating vendor partnerships and agreements. In 1980, Namerow and his brother, Robert, assumed ownership of Electrical Wholesalers. Under their direction, the company grew from a single location in Hartford, Conn. to 22 locations throughout Connecticut.

Ideal Industries Inc. (Sycamore, Ill.): Rob Conrad has been appointed sales training/development manager. Conrad has worked for Ideal as a senior area sales manager for the past seven years, covering eastern Tennessee, northwest Georgia and a portion of Atlanta.

Munro Electric (Fall River, Mass.): Kenneth Vario was recently named senior vice president of construction sales. He will work with the company’s inside and outside sales organization. Vario joined Munro in 1996. Kati Amarantes has been appointed marketing coordinator.

Houston Wire & Cable Company Co. (Houston): Scott L. Thompson, a private investor, and Ian Stewart Farwell, the chief executive officer of Rheem Manufacturing Co., have been elected to the board of directors. Thompson consults with private equity companies and serves on the board of directors of Conn’s Inc. Thompson was a founder of Group 1 Automotive Inc. and served as chief financial officer and treasurer from 1996 to 2004. Farwell has been the chief executive officer of Rheem Manufacturing Co. since February. He served as chief operating officer of Rheem from June 2002 to July 2005.

Westinghouse Lighting Corp. (Philadelphia): George C. Mabin has been promoted to divisional general manager of lamps and decorative electrical. He previously held the positions of director of business development and director of marketing for lamps and decorative electrical accessories at Westinghouse. Mark Lynders has been promoted to divisional general manager of the ceiling fan and lighting fixture business units. Previously, he served as a Westinghouse marketing director.

Leviton Manufacturing Co. (Little Neck, N.Y.): Jennifer Waite has been appointed national program manager, government accounts. Waite was most recently a product manager for Leviton’s Voice and Data Division.

Progress Lighting (Spartanburg, S.C.): Melanie Vergas succeeds Roger Geyer, who retired after 47 years of service, as marketing analyst. Ryan Clark was appointed senior graphics designer. Craig Wright is the new product manager for recessed and linear fluorescent products. Chris Primous has been named product manager for track, undercabinet, ADA wall sconces, landscape, bath fans, controls, commercial outdoor and Energy Star programs. Paige Malouche is director of marketing services. Kent Welke has been named marketing services specialist.

Litetronics International Inc. (Alsip, Ill.): George Gilson has been appointed national sales manager. He will head Litetronics’ sales operations and will be responsible for managing, supervising and coordinating the Litetronics sales and support teams covering the United States. A former NFL linebacker, Gilson previously worked for Neenah Foundry, a subsidiary of Citicorp.

Genlyte Group Inc. (Louisville, Ky.): William A. Trotman has been appointed director of the company and a member of the company’s audit and compensation committee. He has also been nominated for election to the board by the shareholders for a three-year term at the next annual meeting to be held on April 19, 2007. Trotman recently retired as chairman of Ferraz Shawmut, where he was employed for more than 34 years. He served as president and chief executive officer from 1991 to 2004.
