Universal Lighting Technologies (Nashville, Tenn.) Dan Cheetham has been named vice president, OEM and international sales

Universal Lighting Technologies (Nashville, Tenn.) Dan Cheetham has been named vice president, OEM and international sales. Cheetham comes to Universal Lighting from Leviton Manufacturing, where he served as director of OEM sales. With 26 years experience in the industry, Cheetham will be responsible for directing the OEM channel for Universal Lighting as well as leading ongoing development of the company’s global OEM sales team.

supplyFORCE(King of Prussia, Pa.): Dave Achtemeier has joined supplyFORCE as director, industrial supply division. Achtemeier joins supplyFORCE with more than 20 years of experience in the distribution industry. He started his career working four years in sales for WESCO. Achtemeier joined Grainger in 1986 and served in various roles including regional sales manager, senior national accounts manager and operations manager throughout his 18 years with Grainger. In his new role, he will be responsible for increasing sales in the Industrial Division by creating a comprehensive marketing plan and working closely with the owner-members of the supplyFORCE network.

US Electrical Services LLC (Exton, Pa.) Jeff Shovak has been appointed vice president, Information Technology. Previously director of information technology for Electrical Wholesalers of Connecticut, Shovak has more than 24 years of operational and information technology experience in the electrical distribution industry. Prior to Electrical Wholesalers, he worked at Graco Electrical Supplies in East Windsor, Conn., for 12 years as data processing manager and controller. As vice president of information technology, he will be responsible for directing information technology strategy across several USESI regions.

Leviton Manufacturing Co. (Little Neck, N.Y.) David Pomierski has been appointed to the position of South-West region specification engineer for the company’s Voice and Data Division. In his new post, Pomierski will provide technical sales support for the company’s line of data communication products. Working in conjunction with Leviton’s sales management team and network of regional sales agency representatives, Pomierski will focus his efforts on building sales of the company’s data communication products through the architectural, consultant and engineering communities, as well as promote the sale of the products directly to commercial end users.

Orbit Industries Inc. (Los Angeles): Orbit expanded its factory sales force with the addition of two new sales representatives. Dustin Ludwig will be responsible for the Arizona sales territory. He has sales experience from the mortgage field. Orbit has also added a new sales representative to cover the San Fernando Valley, Coastal and Kern County territories of Southern California. Adam Germano comes to Orbit from the electrical distributor side of the business with several years of experience dealing with the electrical contracting sector.

Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (Columbus, Ohio) Frank Bibens has been named president of the group’s service business, that serves as the support arm for all Liebert equipment. Bibens is filling the position recently held by Scott Dysert, who is now president of Liebert North America. Prior to joining Emerson Network Power, Bibens spent 28 years holding various service-related management positions with the General Electric Co. (GE), including general manager of the global operations and maintenance business for GE Energy and general manager of international contractual services for GE Power Generation Services.
