Omni Cable’s sales force covering the Tampa market will now be based out of its Tampa branch, located on US-301 between Highway 60/Adamo Dr. and I-4. Josh Key, sales manager, and two veteran salespeople for Omni Cable, Bruce Montgomery and Andrew Bright, have moved to Tampa from Atlanta and will call on electrical distributors throughout the state, with the exception of the Florida panhandle. “Their market will most likely expand as they get situated and make their physical presence known, but for now Florida is a huge marketplace with a lot of potential,” said Matt Brady, who handles corporate marketing for the company.
With $213 million in 2008 sales, the West Chester, Pa.-based Omni Cable was ranked as the 34th largest distributor of electrical supplies on Electrical Wholesaling’s 2008 Top 200 listing. In addition to its Tampa facility, the company has stocking locations in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and St. Louis.
