IMARK (Oxon Hill, Md.): Joseph Frangipane, a leading advocate for independent electrical distributors, died July 3 at his home in Westminster, S.C., after a long battle with cancer

IMARK (Oxon Hill, Md.): Joseph Frangipane, a leading advocate for independent electrical distributors, died July 3 at his home in Westminster, S.C., after a long battle with cancer. He was 72. Frangipane was vice president of supplier relations for IMARK Group from 1996 to 2003. Prior to that, he served as vice president of the Western Independent Electrical Distributors following a sales management career at Alcan Cable. Frangipane is survived by his wife, Roberta, and children, Greg, Denise (Land), Donna, Mary (Steinkirchner), and Jo-Anne (Schmitz). Noland Co./Raub Supply Co. (Lancaster, Pa.): William “Bill” Trapnell, Jr., 72, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2009. He was a resident of Mountville, Pa. Trapnell worked for 41 years for Raub Supply, where he served in a number of management roles including vice president of administration and operations manager at the company’s regional distribution center in York, Pa. After Raub was sold to the Noland Company, Trapnell worked for Colt Plumbing Co. in Mechanicsburg, Pa., where he was vice president and secretary, supervising operations and administration. Trapnell was born September 6, 1936, in Lancaster, son of William and Pauline Adams Trapnell. He was a graduate of Manheim Township High School and served in the U.S. Navy as a radar man from 1955 to 1957.
