EPI Rises 0.3% for December

Electrical Marketing's Electrical Price Index (EPI) rose 0.3 percent for December. The index posted price gains in 12 categories and decreases in seven; nine product categories held steady this time.

Building wire and cable was up 4.0 percent. Lamps showed the biggest decrease (down 1.8 percent).
