Electri-Flex, Roselle, Ill., is looking to fill several rep positions, according to Ed Marinelli, the company’s president. The resignations came after Southwire revamped its rep network. (See EM’s Sept. 10 issue, page 1.)
“We lost some key rep agencies that represented both companies but we feel confident we will fill the voids with dedicated, capable replacements,” said Marinelli.
To date, Electri-Flex has appointed the following: Lester Sales Co. Inc., Indianapolis, to represent Indiana and Kentucky; KMS, LLC, Youngsville, N.C., for North and South Carolina; Electra-Sales for Oklahoma.
The search has been intensified to find suitable replacements for eastern Tennessee and St. Louis, he said. The greater Chicagoland territory will be covered by the Electri-Flex sales staff for the foreseeable future.
“At some point, we’ll appoint a manufacturers’ representative for the Chicago territory, but we’ll listen intently to our customers’ wants and needs before making that decision,” Marinelli said.
