An article in the previous issue of Electrical Marketing on the ongoing patent infringement case between Arlington Industries, Scranton, Pa., and Bridgeport Fittings Inc., Stratford, Conn., had an error regarding the status of one aspect of the court proceedings. The court has not issued a final decision on the $3.5 million in damages pertaining to Arlington Industries’s ongoing suit against Bridgeport Fittings.

Paul Suzio, Bridgeport Fittings’ president, said Bridgeport is appealing that award for damages, and added that other than the court order mentioned in the July 8 issue of Electrical Marketing for Bridgeport to pull 30 types of Whipper-Snapper Connectors from the market, nothing has yet been finalized in any other aspect of the court proceedings.
