The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) announced that the endowment fund for the NAED Foundation has surpassed the $2 million dollar mark, with committed funds totaling $2.2 million dollars at this time.

The following electrical distributor members have pledged $100,000 each: Border States Electric Supply, Fargo, N.D.; Butler Supply Inc., Fenton, Mo., in memory of Charles E. and Jacyln Butler; Crescent Electric Supply Co., East Dubuque, Ill., in commemoration of the company’s 85th anniversary; Consolidated Electrical Distributors Inc. (CED), Westlake Village, Calif.; Dakota Supply Group, Fargo, N.D.; Elliott Electric Supply, Nacogdoches, Texas, in memory of Nelda “Micky” Elliott; GE Supply, Shelton, Conn.; Graybar Electric Company Inc., St. Louis, Mo.; The Hite Co., Altoona, Pa., in memory of Robert L. Inc., Washington, D.C.; McNaughton-McKay Electric Co., Madison Heights, Mich.; Rexel Inc., Dallas; Springfield Electric Supply Co., Springfield, Ill.; Stuart C. Each donation becomes part of the Channel Advantage Partnership endowment fund for the NAED Education & Research Foundation. The principal of the endowment remains untouched, while the interest is used to commission future projects and studies. As donors of $100,000 or more, the companies attain a permanent position on the Channel Advantage Partnership Council, which helps select future educational programs and research projects.

“We appreciate the investments these distributors have made in the future of electrical distribution. Coming together from all over the nation, each of these companies is ensuring that the channel continues to provide timely, highly trained service to thousands of customers every day,” said Bill Elliott, chairman of the Channel Advantage Partnership Endowment Campaign and president of Elliott Electric Supply in Nacogdoches, Texas.
