Black Box Corp. said will buy Nu- Vision Technologies, a voice and data-service provider based in Amityville, N.Y.
Nu-Vision had revenue of $55 million for the 12 months ended Dec. 31.
Dwayne Diesu, former owner and president of Nu-Vision, will stay on as vice president and general manager of the combined companies. Terry Blakemore, Black Box’s vice president of corporate business development, said that the deal would help "leverage our combined strengths to enhance our national operating coverage and provide our client base with the industry’s best data, voice and hotline technical services."
