The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), St. Louis, will honor seven industry leaders at its Annual Meeting in Orlando in April.

The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), St. Louis, will honor seven industry leaders at its Annual Meeting in Orlando in April. Robert L. Lemman, chairman of the board of North Coast Electric Co., Seattle, Wash., will receive NAED’s highest honor, the 2006 NAED Arthur W. Hooper Award, which is presented to an individual who has led an exceptional career in electrical distribution spanning many years. Kathleen Ellison, president/CEO of B&K Electric Wholesale, City of Industry, Calif., will receive the 2006 NAED Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes outstanding and dedicated service to the association and the electrical industry. Timothy H. Powers, chairman, CEO and president of Hubbell Inc., will receive the 2006 NAED Award of Merit, which is given to an individual in the electrical manufacturing business who has been exceptionally active in promoting and supporting wholesale distribution in the electrical distribution industry. Richard L. Angel, senior vice president of Lutron Electronics Co. Inc., will receive the 2006 NAED Associate Award, which is granted to an individual associated with an electrical manufacturing company who has made outstanding contributions to NAED and the electrical industry.

The Wire and Cable Manufacturers Alliance Inc. (WCMA) named Kevin St. Cyr, president of Berk-Tek, New Holland, Pa., as one of the recipients of the 2006 Charles D. Scott Distinguished Career awards. This award recognizes industry professionals who have made significant commercial or technical contributions to the wire and cable industry.
