“We are entering a new chapter of the LEDVANCE story and look forward to what’s ahead for us in 2018, said Jim Johnson, who was recently promoted to managing director for U.S. and Canada, LEDVANCE.  Some recent highlights include introducing new smart lighting products, expanding our luminaire portfolio to include new fixtures for residential and hospitality applications, and bringing to market more LED products out of our U.S. factories.  Wolfgang’s wealth of marketing expertise is going to be a great asset in growing our success and the success of our channel partners.”

Johnson brings decades of lighting experience to his new position, including first-hand knowledge of Osram Sylvania heritage through his past roles with the organization.  From his start with GTE Sylvania in 1985, he held positions of increasing responsibility across multiple locations and businesses, including leadership of the Valeo Sylvania joint venture and culminating in his role as CEO of Osram's Global Traditional Lamps business.
