New Construction Rises 1.2% in February According to U.S. Dept. of Commerce Data

The U.S. Census Bureau of the Department of Commerce announced earlier this week that construction spending during Feb. 2013 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $885.1 billion, 1.2% above the revised January estimate of $874.8 billion. The February figure is 7.9% above the February 2012 estimate of $820.7 billion.
