GE posted an animated GIF image of a temporary tattoo showing Thomas Edison's original patent for the light bulb. The image, posted on GE's Tumblr account and linked from Twitter, was created to celebrate an innovation push at the company.
To celebrate the last day of our “22 Days Of Invention” series, we wanted to give something back to the Tumblrverse. So, we had our friends at Tattly print temporary tattoos of Thomas Edison’s lightbulb patent.
The original post invited visitors to send fan mail if they want a tattoo, but alas, supplies didn't last and you (and I) missed the chance. Clever idea and a very cool graphic, though. Hats off to the GE social media team.
