Schneider and its ACE distributors unite in fight against hunger

Schneider Electric employees and distributors gathered in Durham, N.C., for training earlier this month, and took some time to help the hungry as well. More than 250 Schneider Electric ACE (Automation and Control Excellence) distributors and Schneider Electric employees packaged meals for the world’s hungry during their annual ACE & IDP (Industrial Drives Program) Universities event on Sept. 9 at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham.

More than 250 Schneider Electric employees and distributors took a break from training to package meals for Stop Hunger Now.

The group teamed up with Stop Hunger Now, which delivers food to disaster victims and other hungry and vulnerable people in 65 countries. Its meal packaging events are part of a volunteer-based program that coordinates the streamlined packaging of highly nutritious dehydrated meals comprised of rice, soy, vegetables, flavoring, and 21 essential vitamins and minerals.
