Despite the challenges the U.S. solar market is facing with a flood of low-priced PV panels from China and the cloudy outlook for future government, it looks like PV installations will show some good growth this year, according to this report from Greentech Media’s GTM Research and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), Washington, D.C. GTM Research forecasts that 3.2 GW of PV will be installed in the U.S. this year, representing 71% growth over 2011.
