To anyone following Kevin Willmorth's "52 in 52" project over at his blog, Inside Solid-State Lighting, this will come as no surprise, but those who haven't yet discovered it should check it out. Kevin has set himself the challenge of coming up with a new working prototype solid-state luminaire every week. Week five's project is a clamp-on table lamp made with turned tulip-wood that looks great.

Kevin works with Luminique LLC, which does contract design and product development for the lighting industry, among other things. Haven't met him, but we enjoy his site.
