Ideal Industries appointed Troit Freeland vice president of sales for its Networks and Electrical Test & Measurement (T&M) Group in the United States. Freeland will report to Paul Finnie, VP/general manager of Global Networks. The announcement follows the formation of the Ideal Global Networks and T&M Group in January.

"Our key objective is the development of innovative, competitive testing products that will place Ideal in the leadership position in market segments we are targeting. Increased concerns about power quality, electrical safety and network availability has heightened interest in testing devices. Ideal has responded with new products and is expanding to reach a broader range of application solutions, the company said in the release.
